THE Best Vegan Tuna Salad Ever!
I was browsing through Facebook the other day and came across a post by fellow greeny Whitney of Eco-Vegan Gal. She’s got some great vegan recipes but one stood out. You guessed it. Vegan Tuna! The main ingredient here is chickpeas & we <3 chickpeas.

Chickpeas vegan “tuna” with seaweed flakes
Below is Whitney’s ingredients. On the photo above, we added seaweed flakes and cut some in squares to use as wraps. Delish!
Ingreidents:
- Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans (freshly made or in a BPA-free can) – 1 cup
- Vegan mayonaise (try Vegenaise or Mindful Mayo, both available soy-free) – 2 tbsp
- Celery – 1 stalk
- Pickles or Relish – to taste
- Dulse Flakes – to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley, lemon, apple cider vinegar, onion, soy sauce/Coconut Aminos, nutritional yeast, and mustard
Method: Blend away!
