Actress Lea Michele joined Valspar Paint and Habitat for Humanity to unveil Valspar Hands for Habitat, an initiative to auction the handprints of celebrities and notable personalities to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Money raised from the auction benefits Habitat’s disaster response programs, which provide immediate and long-term response and solutions to natural disasters such as the recent tornados in the Midwest and Southeast, which damaged and destroyed the homes of thousands.
Lea Michele kicked off the program and unveiled the colorful celebrity handprints made with Valspar Paint at a press conference on Friday, July 20 at the Hearst Tower in New York City.
In addition to Lea Michele, other celebrities who donated their handprints to Valspar Hands for Habitat include Harrison Ford, Susan Sarandon, Angela Bassett, Tory Burch, Andy Cohen, Lauren Conrad, Kristen Johnston, Jillian Michaels, Joan Rivers, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Sandra Lee, Nate Berkus and many more.
