Yesterday, my husband and I decided to go on another juice fast journey. This week, I’ll be sharing some tips that help us get through the fast- including some juice recipes we love!
Day 1 Juice Fast Tips:
- Prep your produce for the week. More details about preparation here.
Buy organic as much as possible. Since all your nutrients this week will come from the produce, it’s wise to pass on the pesticide and give your body the best fuel possible.
- Line up your entertainment.
I love getting lost in a book. This helps tremendously during a fast. In the evening, (when I am hungriest) I read until it’s bedtime.
- Plan out your exercise routine.
Remember that you will not have a lot of energy during the fast, but I find that I have the mostenergy in the morning. At 5:30 this morning, I went on a two mile jog and hit the yoga mat for some relaxing stretches. Now I’m ready to take on the day!
