Forks Over Knives
opens in Los Angeles and New York on May 6th and
throughout the country beginning on May 13, 2011. The film examines the profound

“FORKS OVER KNIVES” WITH WORLD PREMIERE ON MONDAY, MAY 2ND

LOS ANGELES – “Forks Over Knives” will satisfy the appetite of movie goers with
its worldwide premiere on Monday, May 2, 2011. The premiere will take place at
the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, beginning at 6:45 PM with a
plant-based feast catered by Whole Foods Market, a sponsor in the release of the
film.

Following the premiere, there will be a Q&A panel moderated by New York Times
bestselling author of Veganist, Kathy Freston, with Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr.
Caldwell Esselstyn, Rip Esselstyn, Dr. Terry Mason, Director Lee Fulkerson and
Creator and Executive Producer Brian Wendel to discuss the film and the ideals
behind it. “Forks Over Knives” will be released in theaters on May 6th in Los
Angeles and New York and throughout the country beginning on May 13th. The film
will play in Landmark, Regal and AMC theaters.

The film, which has been featured on The Dr. Oz Show, CNN and Oprah.com among
other outlets, examines the profound claim that many of our most-debilitating

The documentary film Forks Over Knives opens in Los Angeles and New York on May
6th and throughout the country beginning on May 13, 2011. The film examines the

storyline traces the journeys of Dr. T. Colin Campbell, a nutritional biochemist
from Cornell University, and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, a former top surgeon at the
Cleveland Clinic. The idea of food as medicine is put to the test. Throughout
the film, cameras follow “reality patients” who have chronic conditions from
heart disease to diabetes. Doctors teach these patients how to adopt a whole
