  • It was a marvelous event. Project Save Our Surf has grown from a local organization to helping build wells in Africa in villages where there’s no clean water supply. That’s REALLY impressive.

  • What a day! I was there on Saturday. What impressed me is how organized it was. There was so much going on – checking people in for their surfing groups, getting them in and out of the water, dissemination of info to the public, drumming, music, interviews with the celebs and pro surfers – a lot of stuff , a lot of volunteers – and everybody was friendly and happy. It looks like it was a very successful event.

  • I had the best time. Me and two friends hung out for a few hours on Sunday watching the surfing, grooving to the music and drumming, and swaying with the waves. None of us are surfers but we really enjoyed watching people ride those waves. Surfing looks very graceful from the shoreline but I’m guessing that with the currents and and choppiness of the water, it probably doesn’t feel that way.

Thanks to Project Save Our Surf and all the groups connected with it, for doing what needs to be done in the world. You guys are a blessing.

By the way, Green Girls ROCKS!

  • Tanna Frederick is a genius to start an organization that doesn’t duplicate what others are doing but assists other existing organizations that have the same goal, in reaching their goals. I loved hearing about what they’re doing with Waves For Water and Tumelo Homes – in the far corners of the world as weel as local groups like Santa Monica Baykeeper. I didn’t know about any of Project Save Our Surf’s beneficiaries until recently. They do a variety of things, all in unique, powerful and fun ways. They are just what we need for kids and adults to learn about the environment, to learn how WE affect it, and learn to become keepers of the planet and each other.

Add to that, The Green Girls! What an incredible service you provide. Thanks to all of you.
