Although I have the incredible eco-savvy celebrity consultant, Phu Styles to assist in dressing Ken for special events (such as the Grammy's), I take joy in perusing the internet looking for new attire I can put him in for both everyday, stage, and on-camera interviews. He follows the Green Wave philosophy of inspiring waves of change through personal example.
Recently I found this company online, Atticdwellers founded by Angelique Jones & her husband Cale Jones, a professional oil on canvas type artist. The name Atticdwellers comes from the attic apartment they were living when she dreamed up the concept back in 2006. Atticdwellers uses recycled materials and vintage collectibles to make hand-crafted jewelry, including earrings & necklaces out of vintage bottle caps, and ties, cuffs, and purses using recycled bike tires! I personally sported this purse last weekend at Bonaroo and got many compliments. Her "Moxie" vintage bottle cap necklace might get some coverage as I was thrown onto an interview CNN was doing of The Crystal Method for the "Impact Your World" segment for their work with Green Wave. Cross your fingers for all of us
You can find Atticdwellers on the road, as they travel to major cities across the U.S. taking part in art, craft, and street festivals or you can check out their website and order online!
