Healthy Lunchbox Meal Ideas
I find it extremely helpful to plan out lunchbox meals ahead of time so that I’m not scrambling for last minute meals during the week that aren’t as healthy as I’d like them to be. Of course, just being good for your little one is not enough. There has to be a variety of shapes and colors or it will be ignored! I’ve got a pretty good combo planned this week and wanted to share it with you.
Monday: Soy turkey & almond cheese slice on crushed wheat bread + sweet cherry tomatoes + organic cheese crackers
Tuesday: Half tuna sandwich + edamame + fruit skewers
Wednesday: Spinach pasta + banana + organic baby carrots with organic ranch dip
Thursday: Soy turkey, avocado, almond cheese slice in a pinwheel tortilla roll + organic animal crackers + watermelon slices
Friday: School hot lunch. They enjoy the break from packed lunch and I enjoy the break from packing it!
