Glowing Temple Energy Blast

People are always asking me how I maintain a healthy diet when I'm on the go.  Many of us are accustomed to grabbing convenience foods while out and about.  Sometimes it's healthy, but oftentimes it's not an ideal choice.  My secret?  I always have food in my purse.  This keeps me from making a less than healthful decision when I'm famished.  This sweet, salty & spiced trail mix is perfect for a mid meal pick me up.  It's also great for the kiddos!

 

Energy Blast

makes1-3/4 cups 


Ingredients:

 

1 cup raw sunflower seeds

2 tablespoons hemp seed

2 tablespoons cacao nibs

2 tablespoons goji berries

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8-1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt

1 tablespoon raw honey

2 tablespoon shredded coconut


Instructions:

In a large bowl, toss together the sunflower seeds, hemp seed, cacao nibs, goji berries, cinnamon and salt.  Mix well.  Add the honey and toss well to evenly distribute.  Lastly, add the coconut and toss well to coat.  Enjoy on the go!
