I am mom to a 6 year old boy who, fortunately for me, is almost as adventurous an eater as I am. Being a full time working mom and single parent presents challenges when it comes to healthful and enjoyable eating. But it presented us with the opportunity to learn about and even grow our own food. And now we can share a lifelong journey of conscious eating.
By day, I am a television producer, working on network competition reality shows. Thats just a way of saying I don't work on the cheesy docu-soaps of cable TV that I indulge in so often.
I began my career at MTV (back when MTV played videos) while earning my MBA in Finance. Then found my way to production as a researcher for ABC News. I was an on-air reporter for MTV Asia News and Reuters Entertainment TV, covering movies, music, and feature stories on the world of Hollywood. Then I got married, pregnant, and divorced. These are my adventures in eating, and cooking--life and love. Thanks for reading!
