Delicious Recipes To Cure Your Ailments

As we mentioned on a previous post, we are a believer of juicing & feel that the amazing powers of natural fruits and vegetables can help or cure many ailments.  We've tried several ourselves with great results. Here are just some of our favorite juicing recipes & their purpose or cure.

The Concoctions

Pineapple-Celery Juice

    Relieves Headaches & Migraines.

    2 (1-inch-thick) pineapple rounds (organic)
    2 stalks of cellery

Special Instructions:
If the pineapple is not organic, remove & discard the skin. Cut the rounds into strips, cut the celery stalk into 2 to 3 inch pieces & process.

We've also tried juicing straight celery & worked great.  It took about 10-15 minutes & the headache was completely gone.

The Evening Regulator
(The Natural Buzz)

    Soothes and Relaxes

    2 to 3 apples
    1 pear

Special Instructions:
Cut the fruits into wedges.  Start juicing some of the apples, process the pear and finish off with the rest of the apples to evenly mix it up.

We've tried this recipe twice & can confirm the undeniable feeling of relaxation. This is great replacement for that glass of wine after a hard day's work!

(This recipe is not in the book. We stumbled upon this mix just from years of juicing our ailments away)

Ginger Tonic

     Prevent Cold

    3 Oranges
.5 inch by .5 inch size knot of ginger (if you're up to the challenge, up the size of ginger to 1 inch by 1 inch

Special Instructions:
The trick is beating it to the punch. You have to drink this concoction when you start to feel the tingle in your throat or constant sneezing.

Oranges for the vitamin C and the ginger for the respiratory benefits. It has been 2 years since I've had a severe cold with aches and pains. Same goes for my family. This mix has been a great help in preventing those sleepless nights of stuffy nose & headaches.

The Machine
A juicer can be found at almost any store.  You don't necessarily have to purchase the Juiceman Juicer to process your drinks, but I've tried other juicers & have found that they don't work as well as the real deal.  More produce is wasted than what ends up in my glass. So, If you can, spend the extra few bucks & get the O.G. Here are some Google search results

There are so many different combinations that you can blend to create that fruit or vegetable cocktail to relieve ailments naturally or just for a good healthy drink.  For more great recipes & natural cures, you can find the Juiceman's book here.
