We just set up a water barrel to use for watering the flowers and garden. We are looking at solar panels and weighing the cost against how long it will take to pay it off.

To be Honest, I am not the most environmental person.
Yet I DO go green when It save me $$! So I've become an "outlets-off" nagger in my home.
The computers, lights, cell phone chargers...plugged in they STILL add to using energy when its not even needed!

We are being MUCH more conscious of our electricity use. We're unplugging certain things when not in use, and also hanging clothes outside on the clothesline to dry rather than using the dryer. Saves electricity and the clothes smell great! : )
