Here’s a natural homemade hair conditioner, made with just 2 ingredients: avocados and mayonnaise. Avocados are rich in B vitamins as well as vitamin E and vitamin K, and the oil and eggs in the mayonnaise are full of fatty acids and protein which nourishes and re-hydrates the hair.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 of an Organic Avocado

Directions

Mix ingredients together in a medium bowl, use a fork to smash the mayonnaise and avocado together until they are smooth. Apply to dry or damp hair all the way to the tips. Put on a shower cap or wrap your head with plastic wrap. Leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo, making sure to wash out all of the mixture.

I've tried the mayonnaise hair conditioner before and it really does do wonders for dry hair. Hadn't tried adding avocado though. Nice video!

Combine mashed avacodo with some coconut milk. Mash together until its smooth and about as thick as shampoo. Comb it through the hair and let sit for 10 -15 minutes, wash out.
