Video: Scott Baio Is Not A Kook Like "Those" People

Not sure where to place this guy on the Do-Gooder scale. After all, he & wife Renee launched the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation to heighten awareness and raise funds for children & families affected by OA's, GA1 and ENBS.  They even hosted a celebrity yard sale for the cause. Hooray for that! ..But when asked about doing his part for the environment, he seemed closed-minded. Watch our full interview & we invite "you people" to comment your opinions!

Still love him from Charles In Charge, even though he threw his gum wrapper right on the ground. We will just have to work harder in raising awareness so that the strange looks are replaced with bright-eyed ideas to better the environment.

They look absolutely thrilled to be interviewed. Kudos for trying to keep it going but they look like they would rather be doing anything else. At least they could've faked it. :/

I would hate to live under the limelight and go to charity events 24/7. It must be very exhausting to do when you have such a repuation to live up to do. I would hate to be in Scott's shoes. Though that comment Scott made should have been handled with courtesy wihtout the stereotyping of those people. He should have said, "I am not crazy about the environment, but I am very proud to those that believe in the cause itself." That would have been well-put instead of the "Those people" comment. Scott Baio placed a stereotype without solid fact backing it up. It kind of made him simple-minded to his response to that. Even Renee sensed that and she didn't seem too pleased with Baio's response about "Those people"....While she might have occasionally nodded her head, you could tell from the eyes that she didn't like how Scott handled the situation at all.

I simply cannot understand how the Baio's can fail to see that the environment is the most pressing issue facing parents today. Their children will reap the effects of all of their behaviour and Scott may well, with 30 or 40 years hindsight, be seen to be the real "kook" after all.

The environment is important. I agree with you, Anastasia. Could you imagine Bailey, a 20-something year old now, saying, "Dad, I am doing something for the environment for my foundation and I believe I could make a difference like you did." Scott, would say your own daughter is a kook, too? I think not, hypocrite. You just placed a stereotype without reasoning and that's make it all the more illogical to back up your beliefs. I mean, isn't the Bailey Baio Foundation about helping and what if some parents are for the environment itself, too? Would you say they are kooks as well? Think before you say anything at all.
