I love the rocks as gifts...it's amazing how much kids love these and see them as treasures. Who need those plastic chachkas that break in 1 day!

(so cute Zoe ;)

Great ideas! It is so fantastic to see more and more parties going green!! We just threw a "green" party for my daughter's 6th birthday. Some other great favor ideas we used were...

We made clay and shaped it into charms the kids painted and could make necklaces out of. A great & easy eco-friendly clay recipe can be found at:
www.recipezaar.com/Pearly-Soda-Play-Clay-43548.

Another idea is a small peat moss flower pot filled with either beans or wooden beads (again can be used for a necklace), a flower pen (pen wrapped in green flower tape with a flower on the end), and a bag of flower seeds.

There is also a great site that provides eco-friendly art supplies:
http://www.stubbypencilstudio.com/

And another site that sells a lot of fun reusable stuff for kids parties:

Cheers,
Hippigal!

Excellent ideas! These will really help make any celebration "green". A great way also to educate your children about the environment and how they can help make it a better place.
