Are you an “It Girl”?

Are you an “It Girl” making a difference in your community?

Ortho Women's Health & Urology™ is looking for women, ages 18-24, who are passionate about a cause and dedicated to making a difference. Do you have what it takes? Whether you are donating your time to a local homeless shelter, participating in a breast cancer awareness walk or have started your own theater program for underprivileged children, we want to hear about it! Visit to enter the contest by clicking on the “It Girl Essentials” button.

You will be asked to submit at 1-2 minute video telling us what issue/cause matters to you, what you are doing to address this issue/cause in your community and how you are inspiring others to do the same. Ortho Women’s Health & Urology™ will select the top five videos based on a contestant’s ability to communicate the essence of reliability, predictability and confidence.

The contestants’ dedication and enthusiasm toward their cause and/or issue of choice will also be taken into consideration. Originality and creativity are always a plus, as well!

The top five videos will then be posted to for public voting. One final winner will be selected per category, with the first winner announced in late April. Winners of the contest will win a $500 donation to a charity of their choice selected from a list of charitable organizations provided by Ortho Women's Health & Urology™. They will also be profiled on, and the “It Girl Essentials” Facebook and MySpace pages and You Tube channel!

The “It Girl Essentials” Contest will run three times throughout the year, with each round focused on a different social responsibility-related category: green/sustainability, health, and the arts. Entries to the green/sustainability category are now being accepted. If the cause you are passionate about fits best into the health or the arts categories, you can still register for the contest now, and we will send you a reminder when it is time to submit your video entry.

Visit to register for the contest and to read the full contest rules. In the meantime, visit the "It Girl Essentials" page on Facebook and MySpace, become a fan, and help spread the word about the "It Girl Essentials” Contest.
